a shot of the week on Method Mag

"It was Friday and it was snowing all day long. We didn't go up to the mountain because Squaw Valley was the only resort which was still open for this weekend and the weather was kind of shitty to enjoy it on the top. So we were just kicking it in the house down in Truckee and then all of a sudden Denis got extremely bored and went outside. An hour later or so I decided to go outside and see what he was up and I saw him setting up this small rail and building snowmen. We to add some fire action so we could make a picture look a little more interesting. Thank you to our friend Barry for assistance and Cory for letting us make this mess in his backyard!"

"The crew decided to skip the mountain and explore an abandoned Christmas theme park in hopes of getting some shots. There was broken roller coasters, giant mushrooms and many fun junkyard features to get creative with. Lucas Magoon found this picnic table with fence to pop over for some quick fun."

"This was the first day riding Hintertux after the Stubai opening. Denis and I arrived in the valley pretty late at night, so we headed up to the park pretty late as well. Denis wanted to check the lines before we started filming. I had to wait for about 15 minutes for him to come back, so I just sat down on the piste. Then I saw Mario and Peter standing up above me, Peter was already filming with someone and Mario was hitting the jumps. That's how this random photo came to be."

"Rock A Rail was held in Den Haag this past weekend and you're lucky if you got to see all that craze that went down with your own eyes. But if you weren't lucky enough to be there, just take a look at this photo of Ethan Morgan doing a 'proper', squared-up frontside slide. Check out the look of concentration on his face, it's like something out of those trick tips you see in mags, perfect style. Pay attention, follow the instructions and you just might pull proper tricks like Ethan. Look out for the full gallery on methodmag.com soon!"

"It was just another bluebird day at the World Champs in Oslo. Mark was going big in the park, like always. Unfortunately, he didn't make it onto the podium, but he still threw down big things and pleased the crowd!"

"We really needed the change of scenery when our Hawaiian/Norwegian friend Jeremy sent us a message with a suggestion to visit Hamar and shoot some handrails. We were really motivated and came out the next day. After cruising the streets of Hamar we chose this really good looking spot and Jessi killed it with this steezy front blunt!"

"When I came to Trysil I had only one thought in my mind - I wanna have this big jump session ASAP. Finally, bluebird Sunday came and all the right guys joined in. I was running with a ladder hither and tither, but in the end I decided to put a fisheye lens on my cam and just post up on the table. Turns out this shot of Joachim came out pretty sick."

My plan for that day was to shoot two Russian girls from Betty Rides and Roxy. For some reason I showed up at the Windells pipe earlier than them and was going to take a few laps in the park. But then I saw my friend Jenya aka Joon (by the way he's Russian too!), who seemed to be working hard in the pipe. At first, we just wanted to take a photo of a frontside air, but a few runs later Jenya stomped this fresh FS 720. Thanks Jenya for making time pass faster!

This was one of the few sunny days during the Technine session at Windells. I stopped riding for a few minutes cuz I ran into a friend of mine when I noticed the T9 team riders were filming some stunts on this feature. Fortunately, my photo pack was only a few steps away so I managed to get some bangers while still chatting to my friend. This Andrecht transfer came out pretty nice, good job, Dylan!
